Job summary

The Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Physiotherapy Assistant on bank shifts to support the Physiotherapy team. This is an as-and-when-required role to cover busy periods and staff holidays.

You will assist with physiotherapy interventions, guide patients through exercises, and help prepare treatment areas and equipment. Applicants with healthcare experience and good communication skills will thrive in a multidisciplinary environment; basic literacy, numeracy

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
• Support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities in a safe and compassionate manner.
• Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use.
• Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy, helping build confidence and engagement.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock checks, and preparation of therapy materials.
• Follow all relevant health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures.

Salary: Up to £14.97 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:
