The Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Physiotherapy Assistant for bank shifts. You will support the Physiotherapy team by assisting with interventions, guiding patients through exercises, and preparing treatment areas.

This role is on an as-and-when-required basis to cover busy periods and staff leave. Applicants should have experience in healthcare or rehabilitation settings, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Experience in healthcare, care, or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Caring, patient-focused approach and promoting independence.
• Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
• Support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice and therapeutic activities.
• Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and stock checks.
• Follow health, infection control and safeguarding procedures.
