Job summary

Circle Health Group in Enfield is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Physiotherapy department on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). You will support registered physiotherapists, assist with patient exercises, and help prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in physiotherapy or rehabilitation settings.

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include:

• Assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
• Support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities in a safe and compassionate manner.
• Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use.
• Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy, helping build confidence and engagement.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock checks, and preparation of therapy materials.
• Follow all relevant health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures. Experience working in a healthcare, care, or rehabilitation setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A caring, patient-focused approach and commitment to promoting independence.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
