Job summary

Circle Health Group in Bedford’s The Manor Hospital is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy department on a full-time, permanent basis. This 37.5-hour week includes a flexible shift pattern and a salary up to £42,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.

You will assess and treat patients with complex needs, develop tailored treatment plans, manage a caseload, supervise junior staff and students, and maintain comprehensive clinical records.

We have an opportunity for an Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.
• Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing CPD and reflective practice to support your development as a senior clinician.
