Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a Functional Assessor (Registered Physiotherapist) in Sunderland for a permanent, hybrid role. You will perform PIP functional assessments, combining home working with assessment centre days, with a starting salary of £42,000 rising to £46,000 after accreditation and minimum site presence.

The role requires HCPC/NMC registration with UK clinical experience and strong report writing skills, using digital systems, and a focus on quality and clinical frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face PIP assessments and telephone assessments as required
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports
• Work within defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
• Attend the assessment centre as required
