Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor based in Sunderland. This permanent, hybrid role combines home working with assessment centre time, offering a clear career path in clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The role requires NMC/HCPC registration (or eligible), 1+ year UK clinical experience, and strong written/verbal communication. Salary starts at £42,000 with progression to £46,000 after 12 months.

Qualifications

• Must be NMC/HCPC registered (or eligible) and active in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
