Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor. The role is for NMC-registered Nurses or HCPC-registered Physiotherapists, Paramedics or Occupational Therapists seeking a non hands-on clinical position focused on reasoning, assessment and report writing.

The role offers hybrid working, combining home-based work with assessment centre time, with a starting salary of £42,000 increasing to £46,000 after full accreditation and site attendance of at least 3 days

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration (or equivalent) is required.
• UK clinical experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PIP assessments (face-to-face/phone) professionally.
• Analyze medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend assessment centres as required.
