Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a PIP Functional Assessor (Physiotherapist) in Hull. If you are an NMC/RGN or HCPC registered professional, this role emphasizes assessment, evidence review and clinical justification over hands‑on treatment, with a hybrid model of home working and assessment centre attendance.

The position offers a starting salary of £39,000–£40,500 with OTE up to £46,575, and permanent opportunities that can be full‑ or part‑time.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration with no restrictions
• At least 12 months' post-registration clinical experience in the UK
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Complete functional assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• Conduct assessments via telephone or in person when required
• Review medical records and supporting evidence to inform decisions
• Apply clinical reasoning within defined assessment criteria
• Produce clear, accurate and well‑structured reports
• Maintain quality standards and compliance expectations
• Engage with training, audit feedback and professional development
• Attend an assessment centre in line with service requirements
