Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is hiring a Functional Assessor (Physiotherapist) in the UK. The role involves conducting PIP assessments, reviewing medical records, and producing concise reports with clinical justification.

The position offers hybrid working with the option to attend assessment centres and work from home where appropriate. Applicants must be an NMC-registered nurse or HCPC-registered physiotherapist/paramedic/OT, with at least 12 months post‑registration UK experience.

Qualifications

• NMC/HCP registration with no restrictions.
• 12+ months post-registration clinical experience in the UK.
• Ability to produce clear written reports.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional assessments for PIP.
• Conduct assessments via phone or in person.
• Review medical records and supporting evidence.
• Apply clinical reasoning within assessment criteria.
• Produce clear, accurate reports.
• Maintain quality standards and compliance.
