Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in a remote, permanent role. The position suits NMC/HCPC registered professionals seeking a non hands-on clinical path.

You will evaluate how health conditions impact daily activities, review evidence, and produce detailed, evidence-based reports within quality frameworks.

Qualifications

If you're an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist considering a move away from hands‑on clinical care, this remote role offers a structured alternative where your clinical judgement remains central.

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
