Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor to work remotely. The role focuses on clinical judgment, evidence review and precise written justification rather than hands‑on care.

You'll assess how health conditions impact daily activities, producing structured reports under established frameworks. The position includes a clear pay progression path and ongoing clinical support, with a 100% remote working model.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC‑registered professional with active registration and no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality written clinical reports.

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.

What you'll do

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
