Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust in Brigg is seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join our North Lincolnshire Community Learning Disability Team. Based at Barnard Court Health Centre, you will deliver person-centred physiotherapy interventions to adults with learning disabilities and a wide range of physical and neurological needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with registration to practice.
• Experience with learning disabilities is beneficial.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive physiotherapy service to meet the needs of adults with learning disabilities in North Lincolnshire, dealing with both routine and complex cases that have profound disabilities/multi-morbidity and/or challenging behaviour.
• To manage a defined caseload of adult service users, using person-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions through the promotion and implementation of evidence-based practice.
• To undertake necessary day to day clinical responsibilities for the Learning Disability Service relating to physiotherapy.
