We are looking for a physiotherapist who is person centred, enthusiastic and is committed to the provision of high quality care and treatment to join our Community Learning Disability Service.We are currently transforming our service to improve the care standards to clients who access our service within Sheffield. Provide specialist assessment, advice /education and physiotherapy treatment programmes for Adults with Learning Disabilities presenting with a wide variety of (complex )physical/mental health needs in community settings.
To supervise/train Junior staff and students on placement from Sheffield Hallam University, working within the Learning Disability Physiotherapy Service.
Promote Physical Health and Wellbeing in line with Trust objectives.
To work as an autonomous practitioner within the Physiotherapy
Learning Disability Team
To provide leadership to junior staff, physiotherapy assistants and students within our service area.
To be accountable, without direct supervision, for the provision of physiotherapy to Service Users referred to you directly and those clinically supervised by you, until discharged from the service.
To be a specialist resource and an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team.
