Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Gateshead. This non‑hands‑on role leverages your clinical expertise to evaluate how conditions affect daily living through reports and assessments.

Hybrid working combines home and assessment centre time with predictable hours. We welcome NMC/HCPC registered nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics and OTs with UK experience.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• UK clinical experience of at least 1 year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PIP functional assessments (face-to-face and telephone).
• Analyse medical evidence and write accurate reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues and attend assessment centres as required.
