Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Gateshead. This hybrid role allows a mix of home and assessment centre work, using your nursing or allied health background for functional assessments and detailed reporting.

The position requires active NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions, at least 1 year of UK clinical experience, and strong written and verbal communications. Enjoy structured hours and opportunities for CPD and progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
