Job summary

Active Neuro Gateshead, part of Active Care Group, is recruiting a Physiotherapist to assess, treat and manage a diverse caseload across our Neuro Hub and home-based services in the Gateshead area.

You will work within a skilled multidisciplinary team, provide autonomous patient care, and contribute to service development. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to reach clients in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, advice, and treatment of clients following life changing catastrophic injury
  • Manage own caseload as an autonomous practitioner
  • Be part of the multidisciplinary team, contribute to service developments, meetings and audit as appropriate
  • Demonstrate empathy with distressed clients, carers/ families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved
  • Undertake continuous professional development and invest in the team by promoting excellent skills and embedding innovation
