An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, skilled and dynamic Physiotherapist with a specialist interest in community to join our enthusiastic community-based therapy team in Bideford, North Devon.

As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will deliver clinical leadership alongside specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients and their carers. The post holder will work with the Therapy team lead and advanced practice Occupational Therapist to develop the service in line with patient need and trust wide progress to provide an equitable and an inclusive service across the Trust.

The post holder will work across an integrated team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and wider Multidisciplinary team.

The Rehabilitation team, consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Clinical Support Workers, provides a Therapy Rehabilitation service to the community of the Bideford and district locality as part of an integrated, dynamic, award winning Health and Social Care team.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring excellence within the team through quality clinical leadership, initiating and partaking in service development, education programs and delivery, supervision and mentorship alongside the Occupational Therapist Advanced Practitioner and the Therapy Team Lead. Integral to the role is the co-ordination and management of Occupational and Physiotherapy student placements and the supporting of further education.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional additional weekend working.
