Job summary

The Hampshire Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare, invites you to join as a bank Physiotherapist. This role is “as and when required” to cover busy periods and staff holidays.

Applicants should hold a BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy, be HCPC registered, and CSP member, with strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Salary is competitive, with an hourly rate up to £25.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical issues.
• Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
• Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.

Salary: Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions (dependent on setting).
• Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
• Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.
