Job summary

The Hampshire Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Physiotherapist on a bank basis to join our multidisciplinary team in Hampshire. You will assess, diagnose and treat patients across musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory conditions, developing personalised plans and maintaining high standards of evidence-based practice on an as-needed schedule.

The post requires strong communication, teamwork and time-management to cover fluctuating caseloads across inpatient and outpatient

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• CSP membership desirable.
• BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic or post-surgical conditions.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on findings and patient goals.
• Use therapeutic techniques, exercises, manual therapy and education to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds and discharge planning.
• Refer patients to hydrotherapy, pain management or community rehabilitation when appropriate.
• Manage caseload independently and flexibly across inpatient/outpatient settings.

Salary: Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions (dependent on setting).
• Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
• Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
