Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a qualified Physicians Associate to cover a 12-month maternity leave in the Emergency team at North Devon District Hospital. Job description

We are looking for a qualified Physicians Associate to cover 12 months maternity leave in the Emergency team based at the North Devon District Hospital.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a doctor within the Emergency Department, taking medical histories, developing treatment plans and discharge plans, referring to other hospital specialities and overseeing inpatient pathways.

Working Pattern: 37.5hrs per week.

Early and Late shifts

This is a fixed term contract from 14/12/2026 - 13/12/2027. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
