Job Description:
Purpose of the role:
- To work as part of a people-focused security team, supporting an evolving physical security program.
- Assist in the daily operation of the physical security measures to protect people, assets, data, and the bank's reputation.
- Provide a first-rate service to the bank’s customers, including handling visitors, out-of-hours customer calls, and events.

- Serve as the point of contact for out-of-hours customer calls, ensuring high service levels.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for visitors and secure assets.
- Support the security supervisor to maintain high service standards.
Role Responsibilities:
Physical Security
- Protect people, assets, data, and the bank's reputation.
- Maintain the security of all bank premises.
- Monitor security control room, respond to alarms, and manage events.
- Manage access badges and credentials.
- Support cashiers with safekeeping.
- Record and escalate security incidents.
- Act as fire warden during activations.
- Support the delivery of the bank's clear desk policy.
- Conduct patrols and update site instructions.
- Assist reception with visitor sign-in.
- Identify health and safety risks.
- Provide support to partners.
Out-of-Hours Customer Calls
- Handle customer calls efficiently, assessing needs and providing high service levels.
- Assist in fraud prevention via customer verification.
- Maintain customer records using CRM.

Additional activities outside outlined tasks may be requested temporarily, with full training provided.
Requirements
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
- Experience in a high-end corporate security environment.
- Experience conducting patrols.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
- High personal presentation standards.
- Ability to maintain logs and write statements.
- Teamwork and understanding of bank values.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Adaptability to new systems and processes.
Necessary experience or qualifications:
- SIA License (Door Supervisor, Security Guard, CCTV Operator).
- Valid first aid certificate.
- BTEC Level 3 security qualification.
Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ corporate security experience.
- Right to work in the UK, with a checkable work history.
- No current criminal convictions.
