Service Yard Security Officer

We are looking to recruit a number of security officers to work within our service delivery team. As a Service Yard Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing deliveries to the site, which involves outdoor work during your shift.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 6 days followed by 3 days off, then 6 late shifts.

Your Responsibilities

1. You must be able to work on your feet and outdoors for long periods, often in inclement weather.
2. Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times.
3. Conduct vehicle searches.
4. Check vehicles in and out of the loading dock.
5. Manage loading bays and access to vehicles.
6. Assist visitors and the general public with queries and issues, providing signposting where necessary.
7. Enforce park rules and by-laws.
8. Manage contractor access to the park.
9. Maintain standards of dress, safety, and presentation on site.
10. Show initiative and adapt to incidents professionally.
11. Act as a visual deterrent to criminal activity, gang activity, or anti-social behaviour.
12. Respond appropriately to incidents.
13. Follow all site-related processes and procedures as per instructions.

Ideal Candidate

Relevant industry experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of licensing, events, public space, and corporate environments.
