Job summary

Hertford Regional College Ware Campus is seeking a Photography Technician to support the delivery and growth of outstanding education in the Department for Creative Arts & Industries within Art and Design. You will report to the Technical Resources Manager and assist the Photography programme team.

The role covers safe studio supervision, equipment management, student inductions, exhibitions, and collaborations with local businesses to provide work experience opportunities.

Qualifications

• L3 qualification in Photography or a related field.
• Experience of working with the 16-24 age group.
• Experience of working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining health and safety in allocated studios, including COSHH, PPE and risk assessments.
• Ordering, maintaining, managing and issuing specialist equipment and materials for teaching.
• Delivering subject-specialist technical workshops and inductions in line with H&S requirements.
• Curating and risk-assessing exhibitions onsite and online.
• Liaising with businesses to support students' work experience activities.
