Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking a technician to support Art & Design lessons, workshops and events. You will prepare studios and workshops, ensuring equipment is ready, safe and well maintained, and help students during classes and independent study to foster a positive learning environment.

You will also manage equipment, booking systems and records, while keeping studios clean, safe and welcoming for staff and students alike.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Art & Design materials, resources, equipment and kit.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teaching staff to support Art & Design lessons, workshops and events.
• Prepare studios and workshops, making sure equipment is ready, safe and well maintained.
• Support students during classes and independent study, helping to create a positive and well-resourced learning environment.
