Job summary

Pure Talent Group is seeking an experienced Printer Engineer to cover Coventry, Leicester & Peterborough on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will diagnose faults, install and maintain devices, and deliver customer-focused technical support onsite across multifunction printers.

Ideal candidates have field service experience, IT-savvy problem solving, and strong communication skills to maintain SLAs and high customer satisfaction. A competitive salary and company car are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field technical support environment.
• Background in the MFP, copier or print industry preferred.
• City & Guilds qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults on printers and multifunctional devices.
• Carry out installations, routine maintenance, and device updates.
• Provide technical support to customers within agreed SLAs.
• Support customer installations and deployments.
• Log service activity and fault details accurately.
• Report recurring faults and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
• Maintain boot stock and site stock levels.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Printer/ Copier Engineer to join a respected Service & Support team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This field‑based role covers the Coventry, Leicester, and Peterborough areas, supporting customers with installations, maintenance, and fault resolution across multifunctional print devices and related solutions.

Main Duties

• Diagnose and resolve faults on printers and multifunctional devices
• Carry out installations, routine maintenance, and device updates
• Provide technical support to customers within agreed SLAs
• Support customer installations and deployments
• Log service activity and fault details accurately
• Report recurring faults and share technical knowledge with colleagues
• Maintain boot stock and site stock levels

Experience & Knowledge
