Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting passionate Phonics Intervention Specialists to support children in BS31 with targeted literacy interventions. You will work one-to-one and in small groups, using programmes like Read Write Inc and Letters and Sounds to boost decoding, blending and comprehension.

Experience delivering phonics in EYFS/KS1, strong communication, and ability to collaborate with teachers and SEND teams are essential. Roles offer flexible hours and weekly pay via PAYE.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering phonics interventions within EYFS or Key Stage 1.
• Familiar with Read Write Inc, Little Wandle, Letters and Sounds or similar schemes.
• Strong understanding of early reading development.
• Patience, nurturing approach and ability to support pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Deliver phonics interventions one-to-one and in small groups.
• Support pupils requiring additional literacy support.
• Reinforce classroom phonics teaching and learning.
• Monitor progress and celebrate pupil achievement.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEND teams to target support.
• Encourage reading confidence and positive learning behaviours.
• Support pupils with additional needs when needed.
