Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a phlebotomy certificate or competency sign-off.
• Experience drawing blood is required.
• Competent in recording measurements and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous blood draws (2 x 6 ml EDTA samples) and label specimens.
• Take height, weight, waist, blood pressure and heart rate; input data.
• Re-confirm participant details and obtain consent before appointments.
• Prepare sample boxes for courier collection and maintain samples securely.
• Monitor participant welfare and escalate as needed.
