GP World is seeking a HCA Phlebotomist for Health Checks & Phlebotomy in Wokingham. The role is a locum contract offering £17–£25 per hour. Shift pattern spans Monday to Sunday with specific start times, and a start date on 29 January 2027.

The job involves phlebotomy duties, health checks, and data recording. Candidates must have a phlebotomy certificate or competency sign-off and at least one year of venipuncture experience.

• Minimum of one year’s active experience drawing blood.
• Must have certificate or competency sign off in Phlebotomy.
• Able to confirm participant identity and obtain consent.

Mansioni

• Re-confirm participant details before appointment.
• Record height, weight, waist measurements; take heart rate and blood pressure; input results.
• Draw two blood samples; label and store correctly.
• Monitor participant welfare; escalate as required.
• Provide signposting, advice and guidance to participants as relevant.
• Prepare boxes with samples for courier.
• Assist with organizing samples for transport and storage.
