Zusammenfassung

GP World is seeking a Health Care Assistant with phlebotomy competency for a locum role in Chatham. You will reconfirm participant details, perform vital measurements, and record results. You will draw venous blood samples, label and store them correctly and support participants with guidance as needed.

The service runs six days a week, with shifts 07:50–18:10 in line with laboratory hours, starting 7 March 2027. A minimum of one year of blood-drawing experience is required.

Qualifikationen

• Phlebotomy certificate or competency sign-off.
• At least 1 year of active blood draw experience.
• Competent in recording measurements and results accurately.
• Able to handle samples and communicate with participants.

Aufgaben

• Re-confirm participant details before appointments.
• Take height, weight, waist, heart rate and blood pressure; input results.
• Draw two venous blood samples; label and store properly.
• Monitor participant welfare during appointments; escalate as needed.
• Provide signposting, guidance and prepare sample boxes for courier.
