Job summary

GP World is seeking a HCA Phlebotomist for Health Checks & Phlebotomy in Ascot. The role includes mobile, outreach duties across Wales & Scotland, with 6 days a week service from 07:50 to 18:10 and shifts listed in the posting. Start date 4th January 2027.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, health checks, sample handling, and participant welfare. A full UK driving licence and relevant phlebotomy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 25 years old.
• Hold a full driving licence and drive manual.
• At least 1 year of active blood-drawing experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm participant details before appointment starts.
• Record height, weight, waist, heart rate, and blood pressure and input results.
• Draw two venous blood samples, label and store correctly.
• Monitor participant welfare and escalate if needed.
• Offer signposting, advice and guidance as relevant.
• Prepare sample boxes for courier collection.
