Job summary

Randox Health seeks a Phlebotomist for our Reading clinic located in John Lewis, Broad St. You will collect blood samples from clients, perform related measurements, and input data into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).

The role is full-time, with some evenings and weekends; offsite work once monthly may be required. Hepatitis B vaccination status and DBS check are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or customer service environments.
• Proficient with IT programmes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible with evenings and weekends.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Desirable phlebotomy training or certificate.
• Experience in private healthcare and sales/retail.
• 6 months phlebotomy experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blood sample collection from private and corporate clients.
• Perform data entry into patient information systems (PIS).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Represent Randox professionally at offsite events and appointments.
• Assist with reception and front-of-house duties.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling at the clinic.
• Ensure samples are labelled and laboratory request forms are complete.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage software and daily tasks.
