Do you have experience in taking patient blood samples? We are looking for a Band 2 Phlebotomist to join the Phlebotomy Team at the North Devon District Hospital.

Our Phlebotomists form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare team across a number of dynamic settings; including outpatients and inpatient wards.

You must have experience taking patient blood samples.

Depending on your shift pattern and working hours, you may also receive an additional enhancements to your pay.

Working Pattern:The post is for part time, hours per week to be discussed at interview, covering a variety of shifts over the 7 day week. We provide a phlebotomy service on the inpatient wards between 08:00 and 12:00 on a Monday to Friday and 07:30 to 11:30 during Bank Holidays and weekends. We also have a phlebotomy service in the Outpatients Department where we are open between 09:00 and 16:50 Therefore our shifts vary between 4 and 8 hours depending on the needs of the service.
