Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and related tests, support laboratory operations, and assist clinicians in patient care. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration within a diverse community health setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, waived tests, Automated CBCs, EKGs, Spirometry to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Keep and maintains lab, reports and logs, process specimens for outside referrals, maintain inventory of supplies.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Sea Mar infection control program; assist Medical Lab Technologist when needed.

The Phlebotomist will follow patient care upon completion of venipuncture. Responsible for performing phlebotomy, waived tests, Automated CBCs, EKG's, Spirometry's, to assist in the diagnostic and treatment of the patients. Keep and maintains lab, reports and logs, processes specimens for outside referrals, keeps adequate inventory of supplies. Performs all tasks in a safe manner and in compliance with Sea Mar Health and Safety and infection control program. Must be prepared to assist the Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist when necessary.

Qualifications and/or Education:

• Must have active Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification from the Washington State Department of Health required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have exceptional customer service and blood drawing skills.
• Foreign applicant requires the equivalency in the US for the HS Diploma. International education equivalents applied to US education.
• Graduated and certified from a recognized US Phlebotomy School Program or authenticity of documents and accreditation status of foreign schools.
• Must pass a pre-hire competency test.
• The ability to communicate in English and Spanish or other languages desirable.

Hourly - Hourly Plan, 20.78 USD Hourly
