Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy (Health), and working in a team of major gift fundraisers, you will be responsible for securing gifts of £50,000 and above across a range of priorities in students, research, and innovation. This role involves collaborating with colleagues across the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health to secure major gifts in areas including cancer, neurological conditions, and global health. You will support the development and implementation of the health fundraising strategy to increase philanthropic income.
An exceptional major gift fundraiser, you will manage a portfolio of relationships to secure six-figure gifts, proactively build the pipeline, and develop creative engagement, cultivation, and stewardship plans to deepen relationships and inspire support.
You should have experience working within a team and achieving personal targets. We seek enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals with persuasive skills and exceptional negotiation abilities.
You will collaborate with colleagues in Alumni Engagement, Regular Giving, and Donor Relations to maximize fundraising income and enhance supporter experience. You will also work across the university to embed a culture of fundraising.
