The University of Salford is seeking a talented Philanthropy and Alumni Operations Manager to lead the systems, data and operational services that underpin fundraising and alumni engagement. You will drive CRM improvements, governance and reporting to support relationships with alumni and supporters worldwide.

This role focuses on delivering efficient operations, compliant processes and data-driven decision making, while leading a small specialist team and collaborating across the PASE function.

We're looking for a talented and motivated Philanthropy and Alumni Operations Manager to lead the systems, data and operational services that underpin our fundraising and alumni engagement activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational leader who enjoys improving processes, using data to drive decision-making and supporting teams to perform at their best. You'll ensure colleagues have the systems, insight and governance needed to build meaningful relationships with alumni and supporters around the world.

What will you be doing?

You'll lead the operational delivery of advancement services across the University, managing the systems, processes and specialist staff that support fundraising and alumni engagement activity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the management and development of our CRM and advancement systems, including Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Driving improvements in data quality, governance and operational efficiency.
• Delivering reporting and insight to support strategic decision-making.
• Overseeing gift administration and related financial processes.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and sector best practice.
• Leading and developing a small specialist operations team.
