Qualifications

• Must be available to commit to the full program dates: 21st June - 27th August 2027
• Must be graduating with a PhD in a technical subject between December 2027 and July 2028
• Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance
• Must have Python and/or Scala, SQL knowledge
• Must be graduating from university in the same country of internship location
• Helpful to have experience with Python, R, SQL/Hive, Java
• Helpful to have cloud computing (AWS) and distributed systems knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and evaluate ML models under guidance of more experienced scientists
• Implement clean, maintainable model training and inference code with testing and reproducible workflows
• Participate in low-level system and API design and data modeling for ML features
• Analyze data using basic statistics and ML techniques to improve model quality
• Collaborate with peers, data scientists, engineers, and product partners to define success metrics
• Explore AI-driven systems and apply AI/ML concepts to real-world products
