Job summary

University of Bath is seeking a detail-focused, part-time administrator to join the Doctoral College's Recruitment and Admissions team. You will be the main contact for admissions in an allocated area, coordinating funding allocations and supporting postgraduate recruitment activities while collaborating with colleagues and external agencies.

The role requires strong numeracy, excellent IT skills with Word/Excel, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a hybrid office/home pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy administrative environments, preferably admissions or student recruitment.
• Meticulous attention to detail due to financial and reputational implications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with prospective doctoral students and academic staff on admissions and recruitment.
• Coordinate student funding allocations and support wider postgraduate recruitment activities.
