Job summary

The University of Bath invites applications for a part-time role within the Doctoral College’s Recruitment and Admissions team to support postgraduate research recruitment and manage studentship funding. You will ensure efficient admissions processes while coordinating funding and helping academic colleagues recruit doctoral students.

This role operates on a hybrid model (office Mondays and Tuesdays; home Wednesdays to Fridays) and requires strong numeracy, meticulous attention to detail, and

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy administrative environment, preferably involving admissions or student recruitment.
• Meticulous attention to detail to avoid costly errors.
• Excellent numeracy and ability to manage budgets and costings.
• Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel; ability to learn database systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for admissions and recruitment in an allocated area.
• Coordinate student funding allocations and work with the Doctoral Admissions Manager.
• Support wider postgraduate recruitment activities and collaboration with colleagues across the university.
• Assist and guide administrative staff and students as needed.
