Job summary

Woodlands School is seeking an exceptional Phase Leader with responsibility for Phase 2, including the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, year 6 transitions and leading maths or English across the school. The successful candidate will teach a class 4 days a week and have Phase Leader / PPA time for 1 day a week.

Qualifications

• Experience as Phase Leader or senior leadership role in primary education.
• Ability to lead KS1 and KS2 curriculum areas.
• Experience facilitating KS1/KS2 year 6 transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase 2 across the school.
• Take responsibility for KS1/KS2 curriculum delivery.
• Oversee year 6 transitions and alignment with secondary planning.
• Lead maths or English across the school as required.
• Teach a class 4 days per week and manage Phase Leader/PPA time for 1 day per week.

Job description

What we need is an exceptional Phase Leader with responsibility for Phase 2. The role will include responsibility for the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum, year 6 transitions and leading maths or English across the school. The successful candidate will teach a class 4 days a week and have Phase Leader / PPA time for 1 day a week. We are looking for a practitioner who is keen to take on a new challenge and is able to initiate creative approaches to learning and inspire other teachers. We can offer:
