Job summary

Boots is looking for a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, complete the Dispenser NVQ2 training, and help with dispensing prescriptions while learning to ensure safe medicine delivery. Training is provided, and a valid UK right to work is required.

Join our Boots team to build relationships with patients, gain practical experience, and develop skills toward Pharmacy Technician or store leadership roles.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, collection).
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services and provide patient advice on medicines.
