Locala Health & Wellbeing is seeking a Governance Technician in the Medicines Team based at Dewsbury Health Centre. The post is Band 5 (NHS Agenda for Change) with 37.5 hours per week and a permanent contract.

You will enhance medicines governance, support audits and contribute to safety initiatives across community services. The role requires a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC, strong organisational and communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to improvement.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC in good standing.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Interest in medicines safety, governance and continuous improvement.
• Comfort with data and digital systems across stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support medicines governance activities to promote safe, effective and high-quality care.
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement projects and medicines safety initiatives.
• Support prescribing, PGDs and medicines assurance processes.
• Analyse information and data to identify opportunities for improvement and better patient outcomes.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across teams.
