Job summary

Locala Health & Wellbeing is seeking a Governance Technician for the Medicines Team (Band 5) to lead medicines governance activities and support audits, PGDs and medicines safety initiatives. You will analyse data, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement to enhance patient care at Dewsbury Health Centre.

The role requires GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician and strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with an interest in medicines

Qualifications

Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
Interest in medicines safety, governance and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Lead medicines governance activities to promote safe, effective, high-quality care.
Contribute to audits, quality improvement projects and medicines safety initiatives.
Support prescribing, PGDs and medicines assurance processes.
Analyse information and data to identify opportunities for improvement and support better patient outcomes.
Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
