Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service, provide expert advice on medicines and collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure safety and accuracy in dispensing.

You will participate in triage, patient education, and support store operations while coaching colleagues to uphold the highest standards of care in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Demonstrated ability to coach and lead a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivation to improve teams, customers and patients.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Support store services as required by the pharmacy.
• Coach and inspire the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care.
• Assist with triage of patients and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Make safe, ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock, workload, orders, and handling of controlled drugs.
