Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver outstanding patient-centred service, triage patients, and provide expert technical advice on medicines. You will coach the dispensary team, maintain safety standards, and manage stock and controlled drugs to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
Excited to coach and lead a dispensary team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Motivated to change things for our teams, customers and patients.
Desire to deliver services and outstanding patient care.
Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines, products or Macmillan Cancer Support.
Delivering services as store needs require.
Coaching and inspiring the pharmacy team to deliver high standards of care.
Assisting with patient triage and distributing prescription handouts.
Taking ownership for legal, safe, and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
Managing stock, workload, order fulfilment and handling controlled drugs while ensuring patient safety.
