Job summary
Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Homecare Service team in Wakefield. The role focuses on supporting and leading Homecare activities, ensuring safe and timely medication delivery, and maintaining accurate Homecare records.
You will work with Homecare providers and clinical teams, lead on audits, and deputise for the Specialist Pharmacy Technician in Homecare. NHS experience and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
- Must have good attention to detail and be methodical in workload management.
- Experience as a registered technician in an acute hospital setting is essential.
- Ability to work with Homecare systems and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Support and deputise for the Specialist Pharmacy Technician in Homecare.
- Lead and manage the CMM Homecare Module.
- Manage workloads and rotas for other team members.
- Collaborate with Homecare providers and clinical teams to ensure safe, timely medicines.
- Ensure Homecare database accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Lead internal Homecare audit projects.
