The Job

Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager, as a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing in-house pharmacy services for both Inpatients and Outpatients
2. Assisting with dispensing
3. Carrying out procurement, distribution, stock taking, and replenishment of pharmacy items to wards and departments
4. If ACT and MM trained, assisting with clinical ward work and checking

The Person

To succeed as a Pharmacy Technician, you will:

• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Service or equivalent
• Be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society
• Work as part of our team to deliver high-quality pharmacy services, ensuring patient experience and safety are prioritized
• Have experience within a hospital pharmacy
• Possess good IT skills, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Hold a Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation
