Job summary

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Chandler's Ford is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our bank on a part‑time basis. You will work with a small, friendly team to deliver high quality pharmacy services to wards and departments where patient experience and safety are central.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service, GPhC registration and Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation, plus hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society (GPhC).
• Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation.
• Desirable – Accredited Checking Technician qualification.
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy.

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital | Pharmacy | Bank Contract | Part time

Up to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. You may need to work Saturdays.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our small, friendly team on the bank.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:

• Have an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent.
• Be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society.
• Hold a Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation.
• Work as part of our team to deliver a high quality pharmacy service to wards and departments where patient experience and safety is at the heart of everything we do.
• Have experience within a hospital pharmacy.
• Have good IT skills, good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Desirable – Accredited Checking Technician qualification.
