Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Pharmacy Distribution Centre (PDC) is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join the warehouse/vaccine team. The role supports automated systems and ensures timely distribution of medicines across NHSGGC services in a fast-paced environment.

You will work a fixed pattern across shifts, with opportunities for training and professional development. GPhC registration and stock management experience are essential, with CPD commitment and IT proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Registration with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is essential.
• GPhC approved competency qualifications and CPD commitment required.
• Experience in pharmacy stock management and IT literacy essential.

Responsibilities

• Supply medicines to wards, theatres, departments, and community locations.
• Lead stock control and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage warehouse activities and staff training.
• Receive goods and update the stock management system.
• Ensure GDP, FMD compliance and safe storage of medicines.
