Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde ADRS is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical services across community and inpatient settings. The role sits within the Central Pharmacy Team ADRS, collaborating with multiple teams including Enhanced Drug Treatment Service and Glasgow Drug Checking Service.

You will be part of a flexible, 7-day rota, with weekend and holiday cover, and opportunities for development within NHS Scotland’s supportive framework.

Qualifications

• Be a UK-registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Hold National Certificate (NC) in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
• Hold SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management.
• Possess Accredited Accuracy Checking qualification (Buttercups or NPA, 2019 or before).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, delivery and evaluation of pharmaceutical services within ADRS.
• Optimise pharmaceutical care to maximise patient benefit and minimise risks associated with medicines.
