Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a motivated individual to join the Pharmacy Distribution Centre's warehouse team in Glasgow. The role involves supporting the procurement, storage and distribution of medicines and vaccines in a fast-paced, highly automated setting.

You will supply medicines to wards and other sites, use automated cabinets, and maintain accurate records while ensuring GDP and FMD compliance. Interviews are in person due to a required numeracy/accuracy test.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: 3 Standard Grades with English and Maths.
• Commitment to SVQ qualifications and ongoing training.
• Experience in supervising staff and training others.

Responsibilities

• Supply medicines to wards, theatres and community services.
• Operate automated cabinet systems and maintain records.
• Ensure GDP and FMD compliance and maintain safety standards.
